Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marie Wilkes can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Peacefully, with her family by her side, at home on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. Marie Wilkes (nee Judd) of Maxville, formerly of Fournier, age 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Orville Wilkes. Loving mother of Wendy Turner (Brian) of Ottawa, Aileen Cross (Bruce) of Vankleek Hill, and Ken Wilkes (Peggy) of Fournier. Dear sister of Kathryn MacGregor (late Scotty), Anna Childs (Reg McCurdy) and Leisha Pearce (Bill). Proud grandmother of Kathleen, David (Beth), Devin (Danielle), Colleen (Curtis), Adam (Cameron), Emily (Bobby), Graham (Natalie), Leigh-Ann (Sean), Hannah (Philip) and Andrew, and great-grandmother of Charlie and Daisy. Predeceased by her parents Rev. Charles Judd and Leisha Van der Jagt. Marie will be missed by her sister-in-law Lorna Winter and her many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Sarah Barkley, Dr. Meaghen Hagerty and the nurses who visited Mom at home. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9:45 am - 10:45 am. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11 am. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the House of Lazarus or the Franklin Corner's Cemetery would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Marie a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
