Peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 14, 2020; Maurice Arthur Poitras; age 73 years; with his beloved wife Donna Poitras (nee Wattie) by his side. Loving father of Christina Ladouceur (Brian), Patsy Massia and Teena Burson (Andy Belair). He was proud of his numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Herbert (Heather), William and Louise (Brian). Predeceased by his parents Arthur & Christina, step-mother Alice, son Jason and one granddaughter. Moe worked hard & loved well and will be missed by all who knew him. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). As per Moe’s wishes, cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation or Funeral Service. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Moe a tree will be planted in a memory woods.

I always loved Moe, he was a great guy, so friendly and I know Mom and Dad loved him, he uses to get mom laughing all the time.
