Peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria on Sunday, December 11, 2011 surrounded by her family. Marie Cameron Hesketh (nee O’Connor) of Alexandria; age 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Hugh Cameron. Loving mother of Donald Cameron (Judy) of Florida, Bernard Cameron (late Sheila) of Gatineau, and Sharon Bourdeau (Jean-Pierre) of Lancaster. Dear sister of Archie O’Connor (Mary), Helen MacMillan (late Jimmy) and Theresa MacDonald (late Archie) all of Alexandria. Predeceased by two sons Ewen Cameron (Lee of Montreal) and Billy Cameron (late Cheryle), by three brothers John A. (Shirley of St. Catherines), Ranald Joseph, and Donald O’Connor, and by her second husband the late Harry Hesketh. Dear daughter of the late Ranald O’Connor and the late Annie MacDougald. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
