hay time

I have so many memories of Jan, one was one year he gave us his hay, actually to Russ Green and myself, of course, we had to harvest it from his hay fields, thats no problem we thought,Well every thing went fine harvesting it, Jan would some days pop over to see how we were doing. It came time to load the bales on our hay wagons and take it home.Typical of hobby farmeres our equipment was not exactly new, to say the least. We left Jan's hay fields with two fully loaded wagons load to the brim with hay. It was a ten minute drive , maybe a half our pulling two hay wagons. We arrived home at 11.30pm that evening. After having four or five flat tires, one after ten minutes or so after the .So we jacked up the wagon and took the tire to Real English at Fassifern Corners Store..Real was great and very patient with us, even after when repairing one of the tires as he was filling it up it exploded throwing Real against the wall.Well I thought we had killed him, to our amazement he got up, non the worse and repaired and refilled the tire.
