Condolence From: Alice McAlpine
Condolence: A few days ago I looked out our window and saw a lady walking by that startled me with her likeness of Esther! I realized afresh that I miss her. This morning, I noticed an envelope from a mission that came in the mail yesterday. The envelope had the message "Help children like Esther run, walk and play again. Multiply your gift 22X" It is interesting that these incidents have happened so close to the anniversary of your beloved Esther's passing. Esther was a lovely, caring lady. May your be blessed in your remembering.

Condolence: Dear Benton Family, While passing through Lancaster, I bought the Glengarry News on the way to the cottage. Arriving at the cottage, I was shocked to see Esther's obituary! Esther and I had kept in touch since my student days at Apple Hill in the late 70's. What a lovely person she was! She was so interested in you, her family, and the times when we caught up with goings on via the telephone, I often heard how you, her family, was doing. I knew she had her health issues but not to this severe extent. I am sorry for your loss. I likewise shall miss her.
May God give you peace and comfort.

Condolence: Aunty Esther (as my kids called her) was an intricate part of our daily life. We will miss passing by for chats, going out on trips, walking together and waving to her. She honored my kids giving them special attention, kind treats and a sense of belonging. She inspired us to keep our neighborhood clean and greet all neighbors with a smile. We will never forget our Aunty Esther.
