Ralph Edgar McIntosh, long time farmer at St. Elmo, passed away peacefully at the Maxville Manor on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the age of 92. Ralph was predeceased by his wife Hazel McIntosh (nee Renwick). Caring father of Helen, Janice (Terry) O’Connell of Mississauga, Lois (Dennis) Jackson, and Murray (Angela). He is survived by his brother Donald McIntosh. Predeceased by sisters Grace, Ruth and Joyce, brother Gordon and parents Myrtle (McDougall) and Donald John McIntosh of St. Elmo. Proud grandfather of Christopher Grenon, Jesse (Megan) Jackson, Natalie (Scott) Heffernan, Mitchell and Victoria Jackson, Melissa, Sarah and Emma McIntosh. Great grandfather of Kayden, Jacob and Jordan Jackson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday August 5, 2014 from 12 to 1 pm at the Maxville United Church. A Funeral Service will be held at the Maxville United Church on Tuesday, at 1 pm. Followed by Interment in the Maxville Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Maxville Manor would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Ralph, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows - memories live.
