Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Yvonne McDonell can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Yvonne Beatrice McDonell (nee Perrier), age 74 of Alexandria, passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital on Tuesday October 8, 2019. Beloved wife of Christopher. Loving Mother of Sharon, Todd, and Michael (Catherine). Cherished grandmother of Justin, Courtney, Hannah, Bethany and Lachlan. Daughter of the late Hector Perrier and Dorothy (nee MacLeod). Dear sister of Dianne Perrier and Denis (Helene) of Montreal, Elaine Dale (Rick) of Calgary, and the late Michael Perrier. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am -10:15 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan's Cathedral, Alexandria on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church Cemetery, Glen Nevis. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Yvonne a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
