Obituary for Yvon Bercier

Accidentally at home on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. Yvon Alban Bercier of Lancaster; age 78 years. Beloved husband of the late Thérèse Bercier (née Poirier). Loving father of Sylvie Rose (Denis) of Lancaster, and Mario Bercier (Samantha Williston) of Cornwall. Cherished grandfather of Mandy (Trevor), Steven (Kalica), Jason, and Jessica (Dan), and great-grandfather of Kale, Mila, Hank, Kinley, and Araya. Predeceased by one brother Rhéal Lalonde, and by his parents Aldéric and Yvonne Bercier (née Sauve). Visitation will be held at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lancaster on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 10 am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Yvon a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
