Obituary for Yolande Levac (Léger)

Peacefully at the Lancaster LTC on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Yolande Levac (Léger) of Dalhousie Station, Québec; age 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Gilles Levac (2018). Loving mother of the late Joanne (late Artie MacCuaig), Christine (Huntly McDonell), Jean-François Levac (Madeleine Turner), Stéphane Levac (late Laurie McKay) and Nathalie (Marvin MacDonald). Caring grandmother of Jeff McDonell (Angie), Darrell McDonell (Krista), Jason MacCuaig (Shannon), Kristina McNaughton (Eric), Stephanie Levac, Dominique Levac (Kyria), Liam and Daniel MacDonald; and proud of her eleven great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister-in-law Julienne Léger and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Ada (DeBellefeuille) Léger; her siblings Agnes Campeau, Alma Bourgon, Ovilda Léger. Adrienne Gauthier, Gabrielle Marleau, Hélène Marleau, Paul Léger (Pitou), Jean Léger (Gazout), Cécile Léger and her beloved twin and best friend Fernande Charbonneau. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (613-525-2772). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Glen Nevis on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 10:30 am. Followed by inurnment of cremated remains in the parish columbarium.
