The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William Williams can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

William "Bill"  Williams
At the Maxville Manor on Sunday, December 22, 2019. Surrounded by his loving family and one very special dog, Yukon; William Reginald "Bill" Williams of Monkland; age 91 years. Beloved husband of Jean Marie Williams (nee Payne). Loving father of Linda Yuzwak (Terry), Cheryl Budge (Dick), Laurie Nixon (late Dave) and Ray Williams. Cherished grandfather of Bill, Shelley, Beth, Natalie, Ryan, Jonathan, Tom, Jeremy, Candice, Richard and Robert; Bill was proud of his 15 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Arthur Williams (Shirley) and Eva McMahon (late Bob). Predeceased by his parents Reginald Williams and Rose Thompson.

Dad was such a kind , compassionate person. He lived his life in service to others. He was always helping family, friends and many strangers without taking credit for his actions. He was a volunteer at the Maxville Manor for 20 years and served on the board for several years helping with the fund raising for the addition of the new wing.

Relatives and friends may call at Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday December 28, 2019 at 2 pm in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Spring Interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Maxville Manor or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Bill a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live.
