At the Maxville Manor on Sunday, November 27, 2022. William “Bill” McDonell of Monkland; age 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Monica McDonell (née Gray) (2011). Loving father of Jean McDonell of Monkland. Predeceased by his parents Philip McDonell and Catherine MacIntosh; also by his siblings: Alexander (infant), Eileen McIntosh (late Wallace), Margaret McDonell, Alexander J. McDonell ((late Aileen) Frieda) and Lillian Munro (late Gordon). The family would like to extend a ‘thank you’ to the wonderfully kind and compassionate staff at the Maxville Manor for providing such excellent care. A Private Memorial Service will be held later in the Funeral Home Chapel. An Urn burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Apple Hill. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Bill a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
