It is with great sadness that the family of Simonne King (nee DeRepentigny) announces her passing on Friday February 3, 2023 at the Richmond Terrace Nursing Home, Amherstburg Ontario. Dearly beloved wife for 65 years to the late Alexander King (2015). Loving mother of Dianne Beardsley (Glenn) of Amherstburg, Michael King (Betty) of Lodi, Wisconsin, Joanne Farley (Paul) of Avonmore. Dear sister to Raymond of Cornwall (Noella), Jeanne Bourbonnais (Raymond) of St. Polycarpe, Reynald of Cornwall, and Yvon (Lorraine) of Maxville. Predeceased by her parents Mederic DeRepentigny and Yvonne Beaupre, son Bernard King, sister Marguerite Bourgon, and brothers, Rolland, Roger (Aline of Valleyfield), and Henri. Cherished grandmother of Micheline Johnston (Brian), Justin King (Sabrina), Patricia Lymburner (Blake), Victoria Bettilyon (Kyle), Melissa Beardsley-Brown (Christopher), Bobbie-Jo Narloch (Zachary), Eric Farley (Anna), Michelle Farley (Roch) and great grandmother to 5 girls and 5 boys. Will be sadly missed by former daughter in law Wendy King Bougie. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd, 114 Main St. South Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Saturday Feb 11, 2023 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. A Mass and Christian Burial will take place in the spring. In Simonne’s memory donations to the Diabetic Society or to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Simonne a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
