Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Salome Schroeter can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

At Chartwell Lancaster on Thursday, April 18, 2019. Salome Schroeter (née Finkbeiner) of Alexandria; age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Schroeter. Loving mother of Sybille Broten, Sigrun Schroeter (Dave), the late Thom Schroeter, Herbert Schroeter Jr. (Deborah), David Schroeter (Sonja) and Susan Schroeter (Mike). Cherished Oma of Christopher, Rebecca, Erica, Rebecca, Sara, Hannah, Erin, Derrick, Salomon, Jacob, Sam, Alysha and Julia and great grandmother of Lucas, Grace, Henry, Leila and Marcus. She will be missed by family in Germany. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. As a memorial to Salome, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
