Remembering Ross from the perspective of a teenager in the 1980's, 'Mr Conners' provided a clever, insightful and humorous perspective on the music and hobby interests of Dave and me. He was the kind of friend's Dad who made visiting their home in Maxville comfortable and welcoming, which says something when you are 16. Once, after I told him my adolescent black and white solution to a world problem, he quietly and quisically responded 'Really?', and I decided to reconsider my position. My condolences to the family for a person whom I remember with respect.
