Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rosetta McRae can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Rosetta Mary McRae (O'Shea)
Rosetta McRae (nee O’Shea) passed away peacefully at home in Munroe’s Mills, surrounded by her family on July 1, 2019; age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Angus McRae. Loving mother to Elizabeth, Paul and Leslie-Anne McDonald (Rob). Grandmother to Jim and Angus McDonald, and Ellen Walker (Mark)and great grandmother to Meredith Walker. Predeceased by her parents, Jim and Elizabeth O’Shea (nee McAuley), and her son, Jimmie. Relatives and friends may call at the St. Raphael’s Catholic Church on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 8 - 8:45 a.m. prior to the Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As a Memorial to Rosetta McRae, if so desired, donations can be made to Seaway Valley Community Health Centre’s Primary Care Outreach Program to support the needs of vulnerable seniors living in our community. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, (613-525-2772). As a memorial to Rosetta, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live.
