At the Maxville Manor, on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Rosemary Sloan (nee McDonald) of Glen Roy passed away peacefully at 86 years. Beloved wife of the late John Hugh Sloan (2009). Loving mother of Marilyn McDonell (Alex), Wayne Sloan (Elsy), Larry Sloan (Joeann), Kelly Sloan (Monique) and Terry Sloan (Darlene) and chosen mother of Laurie MacDougall (Moe). Dear sister of Evelyn McDonell of Lancaster. Cherished grandmother of Kalyn, Courtney, Connie Laframboise (Shane), Kelby (Natalie), Keith (Sasha), Kelsey (Connor), Colleen (Cole), Amanda and Brittany MacDougall. Great-grandmother of Eli, Ethan, Tucker, Henley and Ellie Rae. Predeceased by two sisters Catherine McDonell, Inez McDonald and one brother Ross McDonald. Dear daughter of the late Angus A. “Danny Alex” and Pearl McDonald (nee Ross). Due to Covid-19 a controlled visitation and interment will be held. Face masks and physical distancing is required at all functions. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael’s Church. A public Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery on Saturday November 7, 2020 at 12 pm. For those who wish, memorial donations to the St Raphael’s Church or the Maxville Manor would be appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Rosemary, a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
