Surrounded by his family and friends at Cornwall Hospice, on Thursday, March 28, 2019 after a lengthy battle with cancer, Robert Norman “Bobby” MacLeod of Maxville; age 47 years. Close companion of Tammy Bisson. Dear brother of William G. MacLeod (Emily) and Heather A. MacLeod (Massi Tarakhel). Dear son of the late Campbell MacLeod and Lois Colbran. Proud uncle of Gavin Campbell MacLeod, Layla Grace Tarakhel and Farah Mae Tarakhel. Fondly remembered by many family and friends. Bobby was a past president of the Maxville & District Lions Club and a long time employee of Clarence McDonald Excavation Ltd. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Monday from 1 until 2 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Maxville on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 2:30 pm. Spring burial in the Maxville Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Bobby a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
