Dear Gail, James and Family,
Our deepest sympathy on your loss. Rita was a truly lovely person and she will be missed deeply by our family. The countless hours she spent with Bridgette and Gavin when they were little (and not so little), the pride she took in sharing news about her family,... the chats we had over one flower bed or another, trading tomatoes, plants and dog stories, and comparing yard sale finds (hers were always better) are all treasured memories. The mutual love she had shared with Richard over bicycles and darn fine pruning instruments. God knows we borrowed hers often enough! I have a favorite photo of Rita with Bridgette standing under that humongous cherry tomato tree she used to grow in the TV antenna. They look like tiny dolls in comparison to the tomato plant☺.
We will miss her. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you, your children and her sisters. We all lost a treasure this week.
Judy, Richard, Bridgette and Gavin Dancause

We are so sorry for your loss, we enjoyed our visits with Rita when she would stop by our home on her daily walks for a chat about our flowers and gardens and other events in the community. I fondly remember her taking the time to help our daughter learn how to ride her bike the day her walk corresponded with the removal of the training wheels. Rita shared in the coaching and celebrating of the big moment when our daughter mastered the bike and cried "I did it!" She is fondly remembered by our family. Rest in Peace!
