Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Raymond Charlebois can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family on Friday, April 26, 2019. Raymond Eugene Charlebois of Alexandria; age 92 years. Beloved husband of Estelle Besner, and by a previous marriage to the late Jeannette Charlebois (nee Bellefeuille). Loving father of Susan Brown (William) of Ottawa, Odette Bonneville (late Richard) of Summerstown, Linda Leslie (John) of Orleans, John Charlebois of Barrhaven, and Debbie McIlwain (Greg) of Maxville. Dear brother of Muriel Lalonde (Jacques) of Ottawa and Paulette Bignell (late Jim) of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Geoff (Christine), Jason (Christine), Sarah (Martin), Christine (Josh), Matthew (Lauren), Michelle, Sabreena, Kieran, Brandon and Brittany, and great-grandfather of Ashlyn, Myla, Mackenzie, Ryland, and Isla. Predeceased by his brother Bernie Charlebois (Faith of Alexandria), by his sister Jackie Honeywell (Roy of Ottawa), infant sister Agnes, and by his parents John and Theresa Charlebois (nee Ravary). Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am -10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral, Alexandria on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11 am. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Raymond a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
