Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Réal Diotte can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

At the Palace Long Term Care on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Réal Diotte of Alexandria; age 89 years. Beloved husband of Rachelle Turcotte Diotte (née Cardinal) and by a previous marriage to the late Therese Diotte (née Cardinal). Loving father of Gilles Diotte, Alain Diotte (Sylvie Titley), Sylvie Leduc (Rene), Guylaine Leclerc (Francois) and step-father of Denis Turcotte (Faye), Jeanne McHardy (late Elwood), Lorraine Turcotte, Wilfrid Turcotte (Cathy), Louis Turcotte (Lyne) and late Gaetan Turcotte. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren. Dear brother of Rollande Decoeur (Evariste), Cecile Sabourin (late Luc) and Lucille Sabourin (Remi). Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Aurore Diotte (née Belair) and by his brother Roger Diotte (late Georgette) and two sisters, Jeannette Liboiron (late Jérome) and Jeannine Diotte. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 9 am until 10 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10:30 am. Interment to followin St. Martin de Tours Cemetery, Glen Robertson. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Lung Association of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
