It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a beloved husband and father, Peter Wensink, on July 5, 2020. Peter leaves behind his wife and best friend of 33 years, Erin, and his three cherished sons, Gerrit (Hailee), Jacob (Camille), and Samuel (Lauren). We will miss him when the sun rises, when the sun sets, and all the hours in between. There really are no words to express our immense sense of grief and loss. Peter is also survived by his mother Nellie Wensink, sister Nellie McKay (Glenn), brother John Wensink (Rhonda), parents-in-law Evelyn and Robert Hosler and brothers-in-law Kevin Hosler and Brent Hosler, nine much-loved nieces and nephews, and many very good friends. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a minor sports association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. As a Memorial to Peter a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
