Peacefully at the Ottawa Heart Institute, with his family by his side, on December 25, 2022. Nelson David John Avery of Lancaster, formerly of Maxville, age 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Anna Avery (nee Leslie). Loving father of Sandra McCourt, Judy Horton (late Doug), Linda McCourt (Jack) and Kathy Wicks (Bruce). Proud grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Terry, late Barbara King, Kathleen Barrett (Bill), and Patsy Helie (Gilles). Predeceased by his parents Harold Avery and Gladys Sherman.
