Eulogy for my best friend Nathalie Dubeau on this day of her burial by respect Its been hard writing these lines, because I couldn't find the exact words to describe our friendship. Somehow, it was easier to just sit and cry than to do this at last. But I needed to make peace with her passing by writing about our time together as I couldn't be there today because of health issues. I met her in grade 3 moving to a new school she was my first friend and from that moment on I knew she would be my best friend, and I wasn't mistaken. In our journey, we shared everything that two best friends can share. She was the person I turned to when things got rough, she knew my fears, silly crushes, and serious relationship problems. I respected her as a person for her honesty and trusted her judgment, but sometimes I learned the hard way and got "I told you so". Natalie was larger than life itself along with her beautiful smile I had the pleasure to be part of her life. We both Loved, Laughed a lot, and lost in this world and will never understand why she was taken so young from all of us. She is now with God, another angel that will be missed terribly. Its hard to let go, but the memories we made growing up will be in ours hearts always and forever! I sent her a message before the day of the accident and did not hear back from her until later the following day from another friend that she passed away. That day was filled with anger I truly hated the world and she was looking forward to my visit possibly this year or next to meet my husband and to catch up on life and that day will never happen. Finally, I must thank Nathalie for having made such a impact on my life and others she touched, and making it rich with love, friendship and to everyone who know her she will be greatly missed. She told me once " You gotta go through the Storm to get to the rainbow" and I understood what she meant with my health to keep pushing and that I will make it and that goes for anything in this world and dont' forget it and never give up!! Have a great journey up there Nat, we will meet again. Love Always Julie x0x
