Passed away suddenly at her home in Alexandria, on Monday, September 30, 2019. Kathleen "Kitty" Lawton (nee Buller) of Alexandria; formerly of Montreal; age 96 years. Beloved wife of the late John Gerald "Jerry" Lawton. Dear aunt of Keith Oldham (late Linda) and his companion Greta Livingston and the late Anne Delanty. Dear aunt-in-law of John Delanty. Cherished grand-aunt of Kimberley Curran, Todd, Ryan and Amber Oldham. Predeceased by her parents, James Henry Buller and Angeline Anne Dery; her sisters, Betty Oldham (late Albert) & Marguerite Buller and her three brothers, Jimmy, Ernie and Paul Buller. Kitty is also survived by many nieces, nephews and her special friends, Joan Laferriere, Gerri Tibbals and Sandra Bannister. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd, 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, (613) 525-2772 on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral, Alexandria, on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Kitty, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live.
