Peacefully at home on Monday, August 10, 2020. John Ryan of Green Valley; age 79 years. Beloved husband of the late Jolande “Joan” Ryan (née André). Loving father of Charlene Ryan (Shawn Bouley) of Stittsville and late Deborah Ryan. Cherished grandfather of Jamie Ryan (Rory MacLennan), Samantha and Ryan Bouley and great grandfather of Isla and Dallis MacLennan. Dear son of the late Harold and Louise Ryan (née Mullins), raised by the MacKinnon family of Alexandria. Predeceased by sister June Fletcher (late Keith). He will be sadly missed by his André family in-laws and by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral, Alexandria on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 11 am. Interment to follow in St. Raphael’s Parish Cemetery.
