Obituary for Jeannette Pilon (Montpetit)

Peacefully at the Palace LTC on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the age of 91 years. Jeannette Pilon (nee Montpetit) of Alexandria. Beloved wife of the late Germain Pilon (2008). Loving mother of Gilles Pilon (Rita) and Marc Pilon (Julie). Cherished grandmother of Alexander, Laura (Asim Sheikh), Sarah and Philippe; great-grandmother of Dominic. Dear sister of Claude Montpetit (Huguette) and Giséle Carriere (late Richard). Predeceased by her parents, Xiste Pilon and Sarah Joanette, and siblings Juliette Montpetit, Laurette Massie (Bruno), Gérard Montpetit (Fernande), Pauline Montpetit, Gilles Montpetit. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria, on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Followed by burial of cremated remains in the Parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations made to the Cancer Society of your choice, would be appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Jeannette, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows- memories live. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Munro & Morris funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, (613) 525-2772.
