At the Ottawa General Hospital, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. James Bernard MacMillan of Martintown; age 74 years. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine MacMillan (nee McDonell) (2014). Loving father of Margaret (Peggy) Ann MacMillan, and adored grandfather of Jolleen MacMillan. Dear brother of Frank MacMillan (Mary-Lou) of Lochiel, Donald MacMillan (Doreen) of Red Lake, Ontario and the late Ewen MacMillan (Janet) of Cornwall. Predeceased by 1 infant sister Margaret. Dear son of the late Dan J. And Della MacMillan (nee Lacombe). Cherished brother-in-law of Jean Davis (Robert), Anne O'Neil (Perley), Alex McDonell (Marilyn), Gerald McDonell (Irene), Norma Tittley (Larry), Mary Lou MacMillan (Frank), Hughie McDonell, Myrna Fraser (Allan), Colleen MacCulloch (Greg), Danny McDonell (Karen), and Billy McDonell. Predeceased Jack McDonell and Joan Brown. Loved son-in-law of the late William McDonell and the late Margaret Kennedy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 14 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Tuesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan's Cathedral, Alexandria on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 11 am. Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Catholic Church Cemetery, St. Andrew's West. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Jimmy a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
