Condolence From: Dennis O'Byrne
Condolence: To Special “K”, son-in-law Billy, sons Michael, Patrick, Jamie, Tim and families. It was with profound sadness that I learned of Francis’s passing and I am so sorry for your loss. The words used to describe Francis in his obituary are truly reflective of a man you knew so well. In my early adult-life I was one of many to frequently observe - by example - the very words used to describe Francis. Kindness and humility are but two remarkable character traits that Francis built his entire life around and shared so easily with his family. In every way, Francis personified the description of “good man” and with his passing it’s doubtless that God has called one of his favourites to come home.

Condolence From: Brian Skinner
Condolence: My sincere sympathy to all the family. I was fortunate enough to work with Hugh in Traffic from 1984 until 1987. He was deeply respected for his quiet way of motivating his squad members and his dry sense of humour. At the end of his last shift, he left a letter, which I still have, telling me of his decision to retire quietly with no fuss. He was a great police officer and a man of very high integrity.

Condolence: My thoughts, love, and heartfelt condolences to you all, for “Grandpapa” - a man who literally gave me the sweater off his back on a chilly late summer evening when I was pregnant with Owen. A man of few words but those words were full of wit and would typically bring a smile. Loch Garry won’t be the same without him. Xo

Condolence: Dear Aunt Kaye, Michael, Patrick, Jamie, Timmy and all the extended Family, I extend my heartfelt sympathies to each and every one of you, with the passing of your Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. I know he meant so very much to all of you. Uncle Francis was a wonderful man. A true and shining example of a gentle man, and a fine example of a human being for all to emulate. He was a man of few words, but he was always the epitome and total embodiment of strength, determination, integrity and will. Though a quiet man, he had a wonderful understated sense of humour. Always dry and witty, always quick with a come-back. He was a Fierce Warrior!!!!.....with a very kind and gentle soul. Rest in Peace Uncle Francis. We are all the better for having known you, and having you in our lives. I am so very proud that you were my Uncle. Much Love, Audrey xoxo
