Peacefully surrounded by loved ones at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Gilbert Sabourin of Maxville; age 76 years. Beloved husband of Barbara Sabourin (nee Baker). Loving father of Charles (Cara) and Marc (Jaclyn). Caring brother of Lorraine Heroux (François) and Giselle Jeaurond (Henri). Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gerard Sabourin and Alice Filion and one sister Bernice Dumouchel. Also survived by two step-grandchildren: Emily & Joshua; and his treasured cat, Lucky. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Moose Creek at 11 am. Cremation will take place later with an urn burial in the Parish Cemetery.
