What can I say about the most wonderful man I've ever known? He had this whole thing called "Life" figured out. He had a beautiful wife of 62 years, five wonderful children (two of them, my Godmother Jenny and Uncle Paul are probably sitting down and talking to papere - well, trying to talk to papere. With the only response back from him being EN!?) Jokes aside, he's probably with them right now enjoying his peace. But, I digress. This thing called life isn't an easy ride and it's not always comfortable. But, for some reason, everytime I looked at my grandfather or spoke to him he always had that loose care in the world. But not a cold care. He was warm hearted, loving, and had never ending kindness. He was always selfless, but did what he wanted. This man had the biggest heart of them all, but showed it with a nonchalant attitude. I've always looked up to him and the older I get, the more I realize, he did it right. Like I was trying to say earlier, 62 years of marriage, five wonderful children, seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. At the right bold age of 84, he charished and loved each and everyone one of us (not only his family, but his friends and acquaintances). In my mind, he had it figured out. "Pas presser, pas stresser". Loose english translation: "If ya ain't in a hurry, how can you worry". This isn't a long speech, because I was pretty sure I wasn't going to be able to get through a long one. Gerard Miller was the most wonderful man I ever knew. We'll miss you, we love you and we'll see you soon. BUT not too soon.
