Obituary for Ethel McCabe
On October 8th, 2022 at the Cornwall Community Hospital Ethel passed away peacefully at the age of 83 years.
Ethel was predeceased by her parents Jerry and Alice McCabe, sisters Mary, Frances, Ella, Allison, infant brother Walter and dear friend Bill McMahon, brother-in-law Kenneth Watters who sadly passed away on October 10th, 2022. She leaves to mourn nephews Ronald, Norman, Greg and niece Gail, grandnephews David, Ken, Sean and Trevor, grandnieces Allison, Candace, Ariel and Emily, as well as many dear cousins and friends.
Ethel was an independent person who loved her home, travelling, crafts and spending time with her family and friends
The Family would like to thank the Nursing Staff at the Cornwall Community Hospital for the compassionate care given to Ethel.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home, 114 Main Street, Alexandria, Ontario, 613-347-3629. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at a later date. Donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. As a Memorial to Ethel, A tree will be planted in a memory woods.
