Obituary for Eric Newman

At St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on Saturday, May 25, 2019. Eric Newman of Williamstown; age 87. Beloved husband of Louise Newman. Loving father of Connie Newman-Gerdis (Ken) of Williamstown and Marjorie Newman of Apple Hill, and step-father of Sean and Dennis Trepanier. Cherished grandfather of Jenny Newman. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Elsie (née Lewis) Newman, and by his brothers Eldon (Flo) and Richard “Dick” (Fran). He will be sadly missed by his step granddaughters Katherine, Klaudya and Véronique. Truly remembered by other step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak Street, Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation or to the St. Joseph’s Palliative Care Centre would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Eric a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
