Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Doris Seeley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 16, 2019. Doris Alene Seeley of Cornwall and most recently the Maxville Manor; age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Carl Seeley. Loving mother of Robert Seeley (Maureen) and Loraine Austin (Ralph). Cherished grandmother of Mark Seeley, Paul Seeley, Kimberly Oeggerli (Walter), Neil Austin and great grandmother of Amanda, Ruben, Virginia, Brittany, Shyanne and Cynthia. Dear sister of Thelma Bowman. Predeceased by her parents John and Rose Hill (née Ramus), and by her sisters Irene Hill and Phyllis Greensmith. Doris was a WAAF/ RAF veteran of WWII in England and a long time employee of The Royal Bank of Canada in Montreal. The family would like to extend a sincere thank-you to Dr. Ross and Dr. Lajoie for all of their wisdom and guidance, as well as a special thank-you to the many nurses and caregivers that cared for Doris with respect and dignity, the family is extremely grateful. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak Street, Lancaster, Ontario (613-525-2772) on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 10 am – 12 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 12 pm. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Lancaster. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Charity of your Choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Doris a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
