Left us on January 27 at home at the age of 88 after her battle with cancer. Dora's welcoming and easygoing manner touched so many lives. She had so many close friendships through her passions for gardening, yoga, tai chi, bowling, carpentry, hiking, book clubs, and community organizations such as The Brown House Circle and the Star Gazers. She has been an anchor in so many lives. A true original, strong willed, inspiring, a soul to be reckoned with, independent, resourceful, a lover of music, dancing and the outdoors. She will be deeply missed by her children, Christine and Craig, her surviving siblings, her multitude of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours too many to name. A remembrance celebration will be held once covid-19 restrictions allow. In lieu of flowers or donations, during these difficult times be kind to one another. As a Memorial to Dora a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
