Obituary for Donalda Lafave (Stanley)

Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge Cornwall on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Lafave. Predeceased by her parents Michael J. Stanley and Leonise St-Louis. Loving mother of Wendell (Sheila), Brent (Lynn), Lorelei (Bruce), Marietta (Kevin), Melinda, Ellery (Jennifer) and Alana (Marc). Sadly missed by 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Predeceased her siblings Rita, Cecile, Irvine and Rodney. Friends and family are requested to gather at the Munro & Morris Funeral Home, Lancaster Branch located at 46 Oak St, Lancaster, Ont., 613-347-3629, on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Thursday February 14, 2019 from 12:30-1:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 2:00pm in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Williamstown. Rite of Committal will be held at a later date in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Donalda a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
