Diane Sabourin (nee Renaud) of Moose Creek, age 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, November 29, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Archie Sabourin. Larger than life, she will be remembered for her quick witted, lively, fun loving and radiant personality. Her mission on earth was to make people laugh (no matter what). She handed out joy and smiles wherever she went. When faced with life’s adversities, she showed tremendous strength and courage. She worked many years at the Maxville Manor and was a life-long AVON sales lady. Loving mother of Suzanne (Gary) McRae, Donald (Janet), Denise (Les) McRae, and Marcel (Linda Lappan). Grandmother of 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Roland (Lillian), Denise (Maurice) Latulippe, Rejeanne (Bernie) Poirier, Simonne Laferrière, Louise Doré (Richard) and Roger (Marie). Predeceased by her parents Raymond and Rose (Borris), and siblings Roma, Robert, Romuald, Renald and Dorothy. Dear sister-in-law of Lionel, Marguerite, Gilberte, Thérèse, Gisele, Rachel, Verna, Rita. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may attend a controlled visitation at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 2 pm - 4 pm and 7 pm - 9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial which will be celebrated at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Moose Creek on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 11 am. For those who wish to attend the attendance controlled visitation or Funeral Mass, must call the Funeral Home between 9 am - 5 pm, to register your attendance. Masks and physical distancing are required at all gatherings. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Diane a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
