Heaven has gained an angel as we sadly announce the death of Constance (née Périard) at the age of 99 on Monday September 26th, 2022 surrounded by family at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital. Cherished wife of 71 years of the late Raymond Brunet. Loving mother of Germain (Connie), Gilles (Mireille), Marjolaine (Maurice), Reina (Allan), Médéric (late Monique), Liliane and Aline (Roger). Sadly missed by her wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Constance will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and countless friends for her gentle ways and compassionate nature. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11 am at Église Sainte-Marie de l’Assomption, Green Valley followed by interment in Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation. As a Memorial to Constance a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live.
