Peacefully, at the Palace Long Term Care on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. Charles-Emile Massia of Alexandria; age 93 years. Beloved husband of Claudette Massia (née Lalonde). Loving father of Helen Sova (Douglas) of Alexandria, Jacqueline Bourdon (Jacques) of Cornwall, Annette MacLeod (Kenny) of Dunvegan and Roch Massia (Irene) of Alexandria. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Beloved son of the late Charles Massia and the late Evelyn Massia (nee Piche). Dear brother of the late Alex-John (late Florence), late Donat (Stella), late Leopold, late Georgette Duperron (late Raymond), Irene Lalonde (late Ernest), the late Bernard (late Barbara), Annette Tyo (late Pat) and Maurice (Cecile). Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 9 am until the time of the Funeral Home Chapel service at 11 am. Spring Interment in the Église Sacré Coeur Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Charles-Emile, a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
