At the Maxville Manor on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. Catherine Phyllis Leadbetter (nee Reid) of Maxville; age 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Wilbert MacDonald and the late George Leadbetter. Loving mother of Judith MacDonald of Maxville, and Penny Haas of Edmonton. Cherished grandmother of Jeff, Wanda, and Stephanie, great-grandmother of Laura, Ashleigh, Logen, and Alex, and great great-grandmother of Abbeygale, Seth, Brooklyn, and Sadie. Dear foster sister of Muriel Kennedy, and foster daughter of Donalda Kennedy. Predeceased by brothers Ian and Stanley Reid, sisters Eleanor Reid, Eileen McNeil, and Doreen Wallace, and by her parents George and Catherine Reid (nee Robertson). Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 7-9 pm and on Monday from 12 pm -1:45 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Maxville on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 2 pm. Spring interment Maxville Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Catherine a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
