It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Brunhild Hedwig Schlauri (neé Frey) of Cornwall, formerly of McCrimmon’s Corners, at the age of 87. Brunhild was born in Rorschach, Switzerland. Beloved wife of the late Pius Gregor Schlauri. Loving mother of Brunhild Hinder (Alex) of Switzerland, Astrid Ranger (Stephane) of Alexandria, Marianne Léger (Jean) of Cornwall and Pius Schlauri (Lorie) of McCrimmon’s Corners. She is predeceased by her parents; Victor and Christine Frey (neé Bürkler) and her brothers; Victor, Anselm and Robert Frey. She is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special ‘thank you’ to the Palace LTC and their staff. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd. 114 Main St. South Alexandria (613-525-2772). Cremation has taken place with a private graveside service. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
