Annabelle (MacLennan) Hartrick
September 12, 1921 – September 19, 2020

Annabelle was born in Baltic’s Corners, eldest daughter of Hugh John MacLennan and Jessie Macdonald

Beloved wife and partner of Danny John (DJ) Hartrick for 59 years. Loving mother of Ken (Pat), Ian (Michelle), Janice (Tom) and Ewan (Donna). Proud and supportive grandmother of John, Neil, Amanda, Jamie, Daniel, Todd, and Tamara. Special great-grandmother of Owen & Carter

Annabelle lived a full life with an early teaching career and then supportive farming partner on the Hartrick farm on Stewart’s Glen Road. She was well known and respected for her generosity of spirit, and for sharing from her bountiful kitchen and garden.

Annabelle was devoted to her church, Kenyon Presbyterian in Dunvegan. She willingly participated in and led many activities there over the years.

Annabelle was predeceased by her siblings John (Vira) MacLennan and Mary (Ernie) Whitney, as well as all of her Hartrick brothers and sisters in law. She is lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and members of her church and community.

She spent her final months at Maxville Manor, where she died peacefully, surrounded by her family and compassionate caregivers. Special thanks to all the manor staff who participated in her care.

A Private family service in Kenyon Presbyterian Church will be followed by a Public interment in the cemetery on Tuesday September 22, 2020 at 1:45pm. Masks and physical distancing are required.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Kenyon Presbyterian Church or the Heart and Stoke Foundation would be appreciated.
