On Saturday, January 4, 2020, Anna McBean (nee MacDonald) died peacefully in Alexandria, predeceased by her husband Duncan, January 2, 1991. Daughter of the late Hugh M. MacDonald and Annabel MacDonell. Dearly loved sister of Mary F. O’Connor (late Gerard), late Allan E MacDonald, Jessie Leduc (late Archie), Fr. Charles F. MacDonald, Margaret Howard (late Don), Sarah Holcomb (late Warren), and Patricia Graham (Russ). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. As a valued member of the CWL, Anna lived her life faithfully in prayer and in service to her community through kindness and support. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 9 am -10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan's Cathedral, Alexandria on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11 am. Spring Interment Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the St. Finnan's Cathedral, Alexandria would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Anna a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
