Obituary for Allan Rankin
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Rankin at the age of 53 years on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Hospice Cornwall. Loving son of Darlene and Jack Rankin. Loved brother of Robert and Craig. Special friend of Colleen.
Allan was always an avid sportsman. In his early years he broke records for high jump and racing at Birchmount High School. He played triple A hockey in Scarborough and was an avid golfer at Heritage Golf and Country Club. He enjoyed fishing, winter and summer.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A memorial mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Williamstown on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Carefor Hospice in Cornwall would be appreciated by the family. Funeral Arrangements under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak Street, Lancaster (613-347-3629).
