Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Agnes Christie-Brewer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Agnes  Christie-Brewer (McNaughton)
Peacefully at the Maxville Manor on Friday, December 13, 2019. Jessie Agnes Christie-Brewer (nee McNaughton) formerly of Monkland; age 99 years. Beloved wife of the late Albert Brewer (2013) and the late Fred Christie (1991). Predeceased by her parents William McNaughton and Olive MacDonell also by her brothers John (late Evelyn Poirier) and James (late Florence Clement). She is survived by her nephew and nieces; Archie McNaughton, Jean Viau and Fay Pagé(Robert) and many great-nieces and nephews. Aggie was a long time resident of Monkland, member of Zion United and worked as a registered nurses assistant at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital. Relatives and friends may call at Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main Street South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Monday, December 16, 2019 from 9 to 10:30 am. A Funeral Service will be held in Zion United Church, Apple Hill on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 11 am. Interment Maxville Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Zion United Church would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Aggie a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows - memories live.
